Handwired in the Custom Workshops in Doncaster, England, the WEM CCB-1 is a recreation of the preamp section of the famous WEM Copicat tape echo unit. These British made tape echos were a popular alternative to rarer American models and can be heard across many legendary studio and live recordings from the sixties and seventies - the CCB-1 gives you access to the boost and tone-shaping capabilities of the Copicat preamp in a modern, convenient format.
