P18H Park 18 (1974/Tremolo)

18-Watt Park, (Switchable 18W, 9W, 1W), Cascading Gain, Tube Tremolo

The Park 18 head and combo build on the classic sixties Jim Marshall 18 watt designs: as amps got increasingly powerful, Marshall also saw the need for smaller, portable tube combos to compete with other British brands such as the WEM Dominator. The Park 18 takes the best of these small British designs and pairs them with Park high quality components and handwiring, plus some circuit changes (courtesy of amp guru Mitch Colby) which turn this little amp into a firebreather!

The two individually-voiced channels of the Park 18 can either be used separately, patched with a cable to mix the two voicings, or cascaded internally using the front panel switch for high gain at lower volumes. The footswitchable tube tremolo works on channel two for shimmering and swampy vintage tones.

In another major update, the Park 18 uses clever power-scaling features to offer three levels of volume, ranging from 18 watts down to a mere 1 watt, while keeping the dynamic response that makes these small amps great.
